Adult & Dislocated Worker Programs
The Individual Training Account (ITA) is the primary training tool available to persons receiving WIOA adult and dislocated worker training assistance. The ITA is a voucher which provides assistance with training required tuition, books, fees and supplies. Persons interested in seeking WIOA financial assistance should follow the process outlined. Training assistance is available up to a maximum of $4,000 for the first year of training and up to $2,000 for a 2nd year.
A person may qualify to receive services as an adult if they are unemployed at the time of WIOA application and they do not have current skills to obtain employment.
A person may qualify to receive services as a dislocated worker if their place of business has closed or if they have been laid off through no fault of their own. This information will be verified by WIOA staff.
